Andy Kauffman named chief commercial officer, U.S. and Canada, at Marriott International
Andy Kauffman has been appointed chief commercial officer for the U.S. and Canada at Marriott International, marking his return to the company after a successful tenure in marketing with the National Football League (NFL).
Kauffman, who previously worked at Marriott, shared the news of his new role on social media, describing it as the “perfect fit” for the next stage of his career. He spent four years at the NFL as part of the league’s marketing team, where he collaborated on fan-focused initiatives.
“It was a dream job, and I am forever grateful to Tim Ellis for the opportunity,” Kauffman wrote, expressing thanks to several NFL colleagues for their support. “We moved mountains together and delivered amazing experiences for our fans.”
Kauffman said he is excited to rejoin Marriott International, which he described as deeply intertwined with his personal journey. He looks forward to collaborating with his new team to fuel growth for the company.
In his new role, Kauffman will lead commercial strategy across Marriott’s portfolio in the region, driving growth initiatives in sales, marketing, distribution, and revenue management.
Kauffman is a board member for Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, Mobile Marketing Association, HSMAI. He held previous roles with Expedia, The Walt Disney Company, and Andersen Consulting (Accenture).
