Atlific Hotels has announced the completed renovations on its managed property, Courtyard by Marriott Ottawa Downtown in Ottawa, Ont.
The project encompasses all guest rooms and public spaces as well as meeting and event facilities. The transformation introduces a welcoming new modern design to downtown Ottawa in the heart of the ByWard Market.

The renovations to the property took place in stages over the past two years, with the final touches recently completed. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed to the revamped lobby area which is now a fresh, modern and open space punctuated by stylish mid-century modern furnishings and neutral tones. As well, the sizeable guest rooms have been refreshed with brand new carpeting, linens and wall treatments— including a feature wall evocative of sunny skies punctuated by fluffy clouds which envelope all-new beds and linens.
The hotel’s many amenities have also been brought up to date to meet the needs of its savvy business and leisure travellers. The Bistro, the hotel’s lobby-level dining outlet has a spacious layout and newly modern furnishings. The Bistro’s new carpeting, mid-century modern tables, chairs, lighting fixtures and fireplace are rounded out by modern pod workstations to create an attractive, communal setting for dining and working.
In addition, business travellers will be able to use 3,400 square feet of fully renovated meeting spaces that can accommodate up to 400 people. The six separate function spaces are equipped to conduct business comfortably including modern furnishings and azure carpeting.
The hotel is located in Ottawa’s ByWard Market district, Courtyard by Marriott Ottawa Downtown is within walking distance of several notable restaurants, shops, the Royal Canadian Mint, the National Gallery of Canada and Parliament Hill.
