Taylor Swift provides fuel to a city’s tourism, but she’s also a cultural phenomenon. Centrally located within a six-minute walk to Toronto's Rogers Centre where Swift will be playing six sold-out shows, Bisha Hotel is providing a full Taylor experience for its guests, including renaming all of its seven floors to Eras tours.
The Eras Tour is projected to generate close to $5 billion in consumer spending in the United States alone. Swift fans spent $93M per show - on tickets, merchandise, travel, hotel, food and outfits.
The 514 sq. ft suite aims to immerse guests in the Taylor experience with Taylor-inspired branding, including visuals from her iconic albums, custom friendship bracelets, a curated Taylor playlist welcoming you upon entry, and a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate the night. Guests will also leave with a Taylor canvas commissioned from local artist Nashid Chroma.
Concert events like Taylor Swift's tours bring more than just visitors to hotels. They boost the local economy through increased patronage of restaurants, bars, and retail stores near the concert venues. This has a ripple effect on multiple industries, further reinforcing the importance of such events to the local economy writes Stacey Newman, editor-in-chief, STAY Magazine.
