Bosa Properties and Listel Hospitality Group partner to redevelop storied Vancouver hotel
Bosa Properties Inc. and the Listel Hospitality Group have announced a partnership for the redevelopment of the Listel Hotel Vancouver, Vancouver, B.C.
The hotel is located at 1300 Robson Street, Vancouver, B.C., V6E 1C5. The partnership, structured as a 50/50 joint venture, will deliver urban renewal, and address the growing need for both hotel accommodations and purpose-built rental homes in Vancouver.
The redevelopment project, designed by Henriquez Partners Architects, will transform the current 129-room hotel, renowned for its art-filled guest rooms and meeting facilities in Vancouver’s West End, into an urban destination. The new development will feature a podium and single tower with a restaurant, 174 hotel rooms and 126 purpose-built rental homes; hotel rooms will occupy the lower portion of the tower and rental homes will be situated on the upper floors.
The project marks a significant departure from traditional redevelopment approaches, addressing demand from the Vancouver tourism sector and the housing market by integrating a hotel and rental housing within a single development.
“We’re very excited to announce our partnership with the Listel Hospitality Group, an experienced operator that brings a rich history of successfully managing hotels and restaurants across Vancouver and Whistler,” says Wayne Vickers, vice-president partnerships, Bosa Properties.
