A Canadian team—The Wanted Hoteliers—has won third place in a competition by Marriott International at the Young Hoteliers Summit (YHS Global) 2022.
Team leader Melanie Feng—a self-described “aspiring luxury hotelier”—gave a shoutout to her teammates: Nina Görnemann, Louise Theresa Birke, Jaslin Estavillo, Jennifer Engering and Harper L. for their “hard work, effort, and dedication.”
Feng also gave thanks to her professor Frederic Dimanche, Ph.D., Ryerson University and the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University for giving her “the opportunity to represent our institution and his continuous support.”
This year’s virtual Young Hoteliers Summit took place in the second week of March in Lausanne, Switzerland.
