Caroline Séguin joins Destination Canada as SVP, industry advancement & corporate secretary
Caroline Séguin has joined Destination Canada as senior vice president, industry advancement and corporate secretary.
The role leads Destination Canada’s industry advancement team, overseeing efforts to bring together diverse stakeholders from across the sector, to advance the objectives of its recently launched 2030 Strategy.
Séguin is an accomplished public policy professional with extensive experience across all three levels of Canadian government. Much of her work has focused on the interconnection between tourism promotion, job creation and regional economic growth. In her most recent role as director of strategic initiatives at the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, she oversaw the development and implementation of Canada’s $2.3 billion Indo-Pacific Strategy, aiming to deepen relationships in the region and expand Canada’s economic and diplomatic influence.
