Days Inns - Canada has announced that fifth-generation hotelier Anike Bélanger and hotel manager Audrey Hatin are the new owners of the award-winning Days Inn - Berthierville, Que.
Bélanger currently serves as vice president at Gestion Hôtelière MBA Inc.—where she has worked for close to 24 years. Before that, she also worked several roles at Days Inn - Berthierville and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
Hatin has worked with the Days Inn - Berthierville, Que. for close to 21 years—with her previous role being assistant director.
Michel Bélanger has passed the leadership torch to these two women, who have played vital roles within the company for over two decades. He states: “Even though there are major obstacles and difficulties in transferring a business that could discourage many, I'm proud that Anike and Audrey were able to make this acquisition. I'm convinced they'll take it to the next level."
Opening in 1995, Days Inn - Berthierville is a 58-room hotel that offers guests a complimentary breakfast buffet, an onsite fitness centre, free WiFi, and free parking.
