Days Inns ‑ Canada hosts 2024 'Together We Can' conference
The 2024 Days Inns - Canada conference brought together Days Inn franchisees from all across Canada at Hotel X in Toronto.
Under the ‘Together We Can’ theme, the event focused on collaboration, education and innovation within the Days Inn brand.
“We were thrilled to see such strong participation from our franchisees, partners and vendors,” says Irwin Prince, president and COO, Days Inns — Canada. “The enthusiasm and commitment to team work truly embodied our theme, ‘Together We Can.’ Hotel owners and general managers left with actionable insights that they could implement to improve their operations and enhance guest experiences.”
The conference featured a dynamic lineup of speakers and sessions designed to educate, entertain and inspire attendees. Keynote speakers included financial expert David Lund, who shared valuable insights on financial management, and renowned leadership consultant Ron Tite — who addressed effective leadership and people management strategies.
Attendees were treated to an evening at the Rogers Centre, where they enjoyed a VIP experience in a private suite cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays — turning the evening into a highlight filled with excitement and networking.
Another standout feature of the conference was the vendor trade show, which showcased the latest products and services tailored to the hospitality industry. This event allowed franchisees to explore innovative solutions and build connections with key suppliers, further enhancing their ability to serve guests effectively.
Alongside informative sessions, the conference celebrated the dedication and hard work of the Days Inn family. John Henderson, president of brand operations, Days Inns Worldwide, joined Irwin Prince to recognize the exceptional efforts of the Days Inn & Suites Winkler, Man. during Housekeepers Week. Their contributions underscored the vital role of housekeeping staff in creating outstanding guest experiences.
The conference also provided numerous networking opportunities, allowing franchisees and vendors to connect and share best practices. Participants left energized and equipped—with new tools and strategies to further elevate the Days Inns brand across Canada.
