Canada hotels record first occupancy decline in three months
After three consecutive months of year-over-year increases, Canada’s hotel industry recorded a decline in occupancy, according to CoStar’s July 2024 data.
Fallsview Casino Resort has announced the launch of its OVERTIME Sports Lounge in Niagara Falls, Ont.
The lounge features 260-seats and an 80-foot bar that accesses both the restaurant and the gaming floor—and also has 1,500 square feet of HDTV screens, and provides a premium viewing experience throughout the restaurant.
The lounge is an extension to the current sports betting offerings but housed in a sports atmosphere. It will continue to offer sport betting kiosks, allowing guests to place their wagers while they enjoy the sports competition. In addition, it also features a full restaurant and bar—and the restaurant is open seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
