Germain Hotels earns double honours at Gala de reconnaissance de Tourisme Montérégie 2024

Germain Hotels shone brightly at this year’s Gala de reconnaissance de Tourisme Montérégie. This event rewarded 14 companies and personalities who have distinguished themselves in recent years for their exceptional contribution to the development and influence of Montérégie tourism, according to Tourisme Montérégie.

The Sustainable and Responsible Tourism Award was presented to Escad Hotel Quartier DIX30, a testament to its unwavering dedication to environmental stewardship and community engagement. The award recognizes initiatives such as partnerships with local organizations and ongoing efforts to promote sustainable tourism practices.

“Receiving this recognition affirms our commitment to fostering a tourism industry that values both the planet and the community,” says a spokesperson for Germain Hotels. “We are proud to lead the way in integrating sustainability into every aspect of our guest experience.”

Julie Leclerc, customer service agent at Alt Hotel Quartier DIX30, was honoured as Employee of the Year, marking a milestone in her 25-year career with Germain Hotels, including 18 years at the Alt Hotel reception.

Leclerc’s warm, empathetic approach to hospitality has made her a cornerstone of the Germain Hotels family. Known for making every guest feel genuinely welcomed, her dedication to the craft of hospitality left a profound impression on the jury.

“Julie exemplifies the values we hold dear at Germain Hotels: kindness, professionalism, and a human-centred approach,” says the company in a statement. “Her remarkable contribution has been instrumental to our growth and success.”

Leclerc’s accolade is particularly meaningful as it highlights not just her commitment to guests but also her role as an inspiring mentor and colleague within the Germain Hotels team.
