HAC appoints Husvini Poolay as conference and event manager
The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) has appointed Husvini Poolay as its new conference and event manager.
Poolay’s previous role was events planner at Federation of Canadian Municipalities, where she worked for over three years. Before that, she held several roles at Public Policy Forum and Federal of Canadian Municipalities, worked at Unconventional Planning Inc., Mauritius Institute of Training and Development (Ecole Hôtelière Sir Gaëtan Duval,) Social Services Network, Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa and Air Mauritius.
“With over a decade of experience in event management and a strong foundation in hotel and hospitality operations, Husvini brings invaluable expertise to our team. Her background in hotel management, coupled with her proven track record in planning large-scale in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, will help us deliver exceptional experiences for our members and stakeholders,” says the HAC team.
