Canada hotels record first occupancy decline in three months
After three consecutive months of year-over-year increases, Canada’s hotel industry recorded a decline in occupancy, according to CoStar’s July 2024 data.

The Hyatt Centric Toronto City Centre Hotel & Residences is slated to open sometime in the fall/winter of this year. The upcoming Hyatt property located on 203 Jarvis Street, Toronto, ON–will feature 240 luxury suites, a fitness centre, and an upscale restaurant serving international cuisine. The residences will also offer 180 high-end upscale rental apartments (furnished and unfurnished) with stunning city views and top-of-the-line finishes.
