Now, we are proud to share a glimpse of the next evolution of the Sleep Inn brand.

Featuring a bold new exterior design, revamped guest rooms and wellness-centred amenities, every inch of the Scenic Dreams Sleep Inn Prototype and Design Package combines the clean, stylish aesthetic Sleep Inn is famous for with operational efficiencies that provide owners with the best return on investment. Plus, with our award-winning franchisee support, you will be backed by the best team in the business on your journey with Choice Hotels Canada.

Designed to dream, built to last

Optimized for smaller lots, the new Scenic Dreams prototype leverages a smart and flexible design to provide an elevated guest experience, while keeping development and operational costs low. Its flexible floor plans maximize the smaller sites but reduce long-term maintenance costs through the use of durable materials. Using an AI-powered tool called Parafin, we are able to get a better idea of the ideal property size, number of rooms and cost estimates in a matter of minutes based on land options available.

The floor plans further emphasize efficiency, with strategic placement of elevators, storage and laundry facilities to expedite housekeeping. The three room types in this package also consider ease of turnover, with a linear layout and materials that are easy to clean.

In addition to standard double queen and king rooms, the inclusion of king suites to the Scenic Dreams package generates more revenue through higher rates, while broadening the appeal of the Sleep Inn brand for families and larger groups comfortable with foldout sleeper sofas.

The clean, minimalist aesthetic in each room or suite emphasizes regional artwork and soft lighting to create a restful environment central to the Scenic Dreams experience while providing guests with ample storage space and versatile furniture.

The prototype package offers four enticing colour schemes for rooms and suites, from the soothing blue of a starry night to the soft vermillion of dawn on the horizon. Meanwhile, bathrooms feature a homespun charm, with regional artwork and a signature mirror design, with attached shelving for added space.

Travellers are more environmentally conscious than ever and seek opportunities to reduce their footprint wherever they go. That’s why sustainable innovation is core to the Scenic Dreams philosophy, with features like energy-efficient LED lighting, a linen and towel reuse program, and low-flow shower heads and faucets that are not only good for the planet but also help save on material and supply costs.

A hotel for dreamers

The signature Sleep Inn style goes beyond guestrooms – the redesigned Scenic Dreams exterior makes a bold statement with illuminated tower signage in Sleep Inn’s eye-catching signature purple. The building exterior features wood accents to demonstrate Sleep Inn’s strong connection to nature and its commitment to environmental sustainability is further accentuated by the option of electric vehicle charging stations.

The Scenic Dreams lobby aims to make guests feel calm and satisfied the moment they step into the hotel, with soothing colour schemes, soft lighting, and nature-inspired murals that reflect the landscapes and natural diversity of your region. Guests are further treated to an elevated experience with features like the Dream Cup Station where they can explore a variety of tea brands and brew their perfect cup of coffee, as well as focus nooks where business travellers can work or unwind. Finally, the on-site Dream Corner Marketplace in the lobby serves as an extra convenience for guests, while generating additional revenue.

The Scenic Dreams prototype also provides welcoming outdoor spaces, with firepit patios where guests can sit and relax.

The Scenic Dreams guest experience

The Sleep Inn brand offers a wellness-centred experience, with modern fitness centres and a complimentary “better-for-you” breakfast. After breakfast is served, the Scenic Dreams prototype allows its revamped breakfast area to quickly be re-configured as a communal flex space for breakouts, a games room, or a co-working area – perfect for solo business travellers or groups.

Sleep Inn also offers visitors fully integrated mobile experiences to help them unwind after a long day travelling, at work, or at play. After checking in, guests receive free access to the BetterSleep relaxation app on their phones and can choose the perfect mix of meditation music, soothing sounds and even bedtime stories to get a perfect night’s rest. In the daytime, they can connect with nature, exercise and explore using the AllTrails app to find hiking trails near the hotel.
