Le Westin Tremblant has announced the opening of Léo boire + manger, the resort destination’s newest dining experience.
In partnership with Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality, this chef-driven brasserie offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, redefining the culinary landscape in Tremblant.
Léo’s culinary vision is driven by O&B corporate executive chef Anthony Walsh, Montréal’s Bar George executive chef Kevin Ramasawmy and chef de cuisine Luc Le Gourvellec from Bar George who will now be resident chef at Léo. Together, these chefs bring a love of quality, seasonal ingredients, playful conviviality and connection to the forefront of Léo’s menu. Familiar yet refined, the menu lends itself well to everything from avant and après bites to celebratory feasts, family dinners and social gatherings.
“We are thrilled to introduce Léo, a very special dining destination that brings a newfound glory to Tremblant” said Guillaume Parent, president and managing partner, GPHC Capital, which owns Le Westin Tremblant. “This restaurant not only delivers an exceptional culinary experience but also serves as a cornerstone in the re-imagining of our hotel while elevating our region’s hospitality. Léo embodies the spirit of Tremblant, blending world-class cuisine and design with the warm, inviting ambiance that our guests cherish. We are confident that Le Westin Tremblant will become the heart of entertainment and dining in Tremblant, and Léo will set a new standard for culinary excellence in the area.”
Open year-round, Léo will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as weekend brunch and bar bites in its 130-seat restaurant, offering a variety of options for nearby residents, resort guests and day-trippers to relax, dine and indulge.
Léo will also showcase a robust wine list emphasizing diverse winemakers, including strong local representation, with a wide range of varietals and price points. Inspired by Bar George’s cocktail culture, Léo’s well-curated cocktail list balances beloved classics with signature recipes.
Léo’s design mirrors the region’s storied topography, gradually revealing its splendour just like the mountain it is nestled into. Upon entry, guests pass through an impressive and immersive 600-bottle wine room, setting the stage for the unique journey ahead. Descending the “piste” to the second level, they are greeted by a host stand situated in front of a warm fireplace, embodying the cozy ambiance of a European mountain lodge.
Drawing inspiration from the Canadian Shield and the rich colour palate of the Tremblant region, Léo features natural fabrics in warm sage, amber and earthy neutrals. Inviting bouclé and soft velvets counterpoint the light and dark honed marbles with intricate and mellifluous veins and layered wood and brass and stone accents that anchor the dining room. The inviting aromas and dynamic activity from the open show kitchen highlight the creativity of the culinary artists, creating a sensory experience all day and night. Bathed in natural light, the restaurant offers breathtaking views of Tremblant’s majestic scenery and the charming Promenade Deslauriers, with its inviting galleries and shops.
On the main floor, the bar provides casual seating by day, transforming in the evening with warm lighting as guests swap their ski boots for fashionable footwear. The lively atmosphere is enhanced by the sounds of a DJ, creating the perfect setting for an après soirée. This transformative space echoes the aspirational vibes of some of the world’s most coveted ski resorts, positioning Le Westin Tremblant as the new epicentre of dining and entertainment in the region.
Léo offers a preview of the exciting transformations underway at Le Westin Tremblant. Recently acquired by GPHC Capital and operated by Atlific Hotels, the Grand Dame of Tremblant is set to unveil a new spa and wellness facility, fitness center, and updated public spaces in the coming weeks. Additionally, The Terrace at Léo is scheduled to open this summer, promising more exciting offerings for the all-season resort.
Le Westin Tremblant features exceptional accommodations that allow reconnecting with nature year-round. Managed by Atlific Hotels, the hotel offers nearly 4,000 square feet of thoughtfully designed meeting and banquet space that can be adapted to accommodate weddings and corporate retreats alike. All 122 guestrooms are equipped with a fireplace and plush bedding featuring the next-generation Westin Heavenly Bed for a restful stay. Hailed as “an oasis of contemporary cool in the heart of Tremblant’s slopeside community” by the Montreal Gazette, Le Westin Tremblant offers a year-round heated pool, world-class spa and wellness centre. With its signature wellness programs, Le Westin Tremblant is committed to helping guests reconnect with nature and find peace of mind by focusing on well-being. At Le Westin Tremblant, guests can eat, sleep, move, feel, work, and play well.
