MasterBUILT Hotels, the privately owned hotel development, management and investment company, has announced the opening of its second corporate office in Montreal.
Headquartered, and founded, in downtown Calgary, MasterBUILT’s steady growth and ambitious Canada-wide hotel expansion plan of the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham brand and new-to-market ECHO Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham signalled an opportunity for an eastern and bilingual base.
Over the past few years, MasterBUILT’s hotel portfolio has only expanded, along with its corporate and hotel associate count.
The company’s president and CEO David Donaldson explains: “With abundant hotel development opportunities in eastern Canada, and a significant percentage of our hotel portfolio already in Quebec, a secondary home for MasterBUILT just made sense, and Montreal was the perfect fit.”
Situated in the heart of Old Montreal, the new office will serve as a vibrant hub for MasterBUILT’s Quebec-based team members and as an ideal meeting spot to further their hotel development ventures. Expertly redesigned to fit its purpose, the office boasts a mix of Old Montreal’s famous character features and modern efficiencies, such as a well-designed boardroom and convenient hot desks.
