The opening follows the August 2024 debut of Nobu Toronto Restaurant and the brand’s luxury residential offering, which comprises two towers with 660 condominium units. Nobu Hotel Toronto marks the brand’s first integrated hotel, restaurant and residences development announced globally.
Positioned from floors 41 to 45 in the west tower, the hotel is reportedly the first in Toronto to situate its entire guestroom inventory exclusively on the uppermost floors of a high-rise. The vertical configuration is intended to deliver a heightened level of privacy and panoramic views of the city skyline and Lake Ontario, aligning with Nobu’s positioning as an urban sanctuary catering to high-net-worth and celebrity clientele.
“This will be a monumental addition to the luxury hotel landscape in the city,” says Benoit Pretet, general manager, Nobu Hotel Toronto. “Situated in a prime location in the heart of the entertainment district and just steps from cultural landmarks like TIFF, Nobu Hotel Toronto will quickly become the city’s urban oasis.”
The boutique hotel’s 36 rooms and suites are designed to reflect Nobu Hospitality’s signature blend of Japanese minimalism and contemporary luxury, with Canadian design influences throughout. Guestrooms feature spa-style bathrooms with deep-soaking ofuro tubs, heated floors, double vanities and Japanese Toto fixtures. Floor-to-ceiling windows and neutral interior palettes are intended to create a sense of calm while maximizing natural light and skyline views.
