Canadian hospitality company Opal Hospitality has unveiled plans for several new hotel projects in Ontario and Quebec, catering to a diverse range of travellers, from business professionals to outdoor enthusiasts and lifestyle seekers. The upcoming properties include a mix of extended-stay, boutique, and modern accommodation options.

Dorchester Hotel Collingwood, Ont.

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Mississauga

Located at the corner of Hurontario St. and Courtneypark Dr. in Mississauga, Ont., the 160-room TownePlace Suites by Marriott Mississauga is scheduled to open in 2027. Designed with business travellers, long-term guests, and families in mind, the extended-stay hotel will offer spacious suites with fully equipped kitchens, an outdoor BBQ area, a 24/7 fitness facility, and business amenities.

The hotel’s prime location provides convenient access to Pearson International Airport and major highways, including the 401, 403, and 410. It is also close to corporate offices, industrial parks, Square One Shopping Centre, and the upcoming Hurontario LRT, making it a strategic choice for visitors to the Greater Toronto Area.

In Collingwood, Ont., Opal Hospitality is bringing a boutique experience to the region with the Dorchester Hotel Collingwood, a 28-room property that highlights the historic charm and modern elegance of the scenic town.

The hotel’s location near Blue Mountain Resort and Georgian Bay positions it as a prime destination for outdoor enthusiasts and travellers seeking a refined yet relaxed retreat. Guests will be steps from Collingwood’s downtown core, which features boutique shops, restaurants, and cultural spots, while also being minutes from the Georgian Bay waterfront.

Tru by Hilton Napanee

Set to open in August 2025, Tru by Hilton Napanee will introduce Hilton’s fresh and affordable brand to the growing Napanee region. The 76-room property is designed for modern travellers, offering smartly designed spaces and an energetic atmosphere.

Tru by Hilton Napanee is conveniently located near Highway 401, making it ideal for travellers between Toronto and Montreal. Guests will also have easy access to Napanee’s historic downtown, as well as nearby attractions such as the Lennox & Addington County Museum & Archives.

Hotel Railwayparc, Montreal

Scheduled to open in April 2025, Hotel Railwayparc will join Hilton’s Tapestry Collection and offer a unique lifestyle experience in Montreal. Located at 665 St-Jacques St. West, the 75-room property—including long-stay apartments—will blend the area’s rich history with modern hospitality, focusing on individuality and local culture.

The hotel’s location provides easy access to the MUHC - McGill University Health Centre (Glen Site) and the vibrant Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighbourhood, known for its boutique shops and dining options. With its proximity to downtown Montreal and major transit routes, Railwayparc is poised to attract both business and leisure travellers.
