Soraya Gonzales has been promoted at Interval International, Alicia Dill is now senior vice-president at Worldhotels, and Michael Sieger has joined Nova Hotels as vice-president.
Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services, announced the promotion of Soraya Gonzales to vice president of resort assistance and client services for the Americas. Based in Miami, she oversees the working relationship between the company and the resorts affiliated with its Quality Vacation Exchange Network. She reports to Marcos Agostini, Interval’s executive vice president of global sales and business development.
Worldhotels, a global sales, marketing and
distribution company, with over 350 independent upscale and luxury hotels in 50
countries, is strengthening its leadership team by appointing Alicia Dill as
new senior vice president, The Americas. In her new role, Dill will be
responsible for the sales, marketing and revenue optimization for the company’s
growing portfolio of member hotels in North and South America. She will report
into Geoff Andrew, the group's chief executive officer.
Michael Sieger has been named vice-president at Nova Hotels, a rapidly expanding hotel chain with 13 locations throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and the North.
Sieger has spent the last 25 years working in the
Alberta marketplace managing hotel properties in both Calgary and Edmonton. He has also served as president of the Calgary Hotel Association, vice-chair
and board of directors member for Calgary Tourism, vice-chair and Board of
Directors member for the Alberta Hotel & Lodging Association and Board of Directors
member for the Edmonton Destination Marketing Hotels Group. He says that his time spent serving on the advisory committee that set curriculum
for SAIT is one of his most rewarding experiences. Having served the industry
in a different way, as director of business development for Edmonton Tourism for
over three years, Sieger returns to the hotel industry he loves as he assumes his new
role as vice-president of Nova Hotels.
