Marriott has announced the appointment of Peter Gillis as general manager of Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, effective January 13th, 2025.
Gillis brings over 30 years of experience in full-service and resort environments. He has held GM roles in Whistler, Vancouver, Kelowna, Ottawa, and Toronto. Gillis has managed The Westin Harbour Castle, Toronto since 2018, leading significant renovations and building associate engagement and performance.
Gillis holds a Bachelor of Hospitality Management from Vancouver Community College and a Real Estate diploma from UBC. He is also a board member of the GTHA and Ontario CMN Program Advisory Committee.
