SilverBirch appoints Anita Wong as senior vice president, finance
SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts has appointed Anita Wong as senior vice president, finance.
Wong’s previous role was vice president, finance — and she also worked as director, finance and manager, corporate accounting and reporting.
Before that, she worked at Smythe LLP. In her new role, she will continue to lead the finance function, overseeing financial reporting, corporate and hotel accounting, strategic analysis and planning, treasury and debt management, taxation, risk management, and business processes, along with related controls.
“Over the years, Anita has been instrumental in advancing our finance function, processes and building an industry leading finance team” says Jiri Rumlena, president of SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts. “She has not only proven her considerable skills and exceptional ability to execute, but also as an exceptional leader for her team.”
