Scheduled for March 11, 2025, at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, British Columbia, the Summit will spotlight this year’s theme: “All Ages, All Stages: Building the Future Together.”
The Summit aims to create a vibrant forum for professionals at all career stages, from aspiring leaders to seasoned executives, to collaborate on addressing industry disparities and charting pathways toward a more equitable future.
Joanna Jagger, Founder of WORTH Association, emphasizes the event’s significance: “We want to create opportunities for women to advance, learn, and make their voices heard, so that we can see more women in top leadership roles. This Summit provides a platform to challenge the status quo, foster meaningful connections, and drive a more inclusive future for our industry.”
With data highlighting the stark gender imbalance—only one woman for every 10.3 men in executive tourism roles (Castell Project, 2022)—the need for transformative change has never been clearer. Women of colour face even steeper challenges, holding less than five per cent of executive roles across industries (LeanIn, 2024). The Summit aims to tackle these issues head-on by equipping attendees with the tools and strategies necessary to accelerate their careers and inspire systemic change.

The Summit’s impact will extend beyond the event itself. Proceeds will support WORTH’s initiatives, including scholarships, professional development programs, and low-barrier opportunities to cultivate diverse leadership.
Nicole Ford, VP of Communications, Sustainability, and Stakeholder Relations at the Rocky Mountaineer, expresses her support: “Our team is proud to support this event and WORTH for their enduring efforts to meaningfully inspire women in the industry and beyond.”
Trina Notman of Accent Inns adds: “The WORTH Summit was the first time I felt free to be my authentic self in a space that wasn’t patriarchal. It was inspiring to witness a ballroom filled with people motivated to foster belonging and equity.”
